just because you don't have heartburn doesn't mean you couldn't have GERD.You could have LPR a form of GERD that occurs in your throat.

I used prescription meds but lately have been keeping a bottle of TUMS EXTRA STRENGTH antacid tablets as well as always having them on my nightstand and in my pockets.I also use CVS Ultra antacid tabletsI have some with me for right when I go to bed i take one and it lets me sleep.before i had to sleep sitting up.Now i can bend over to work & sleep pretty good always use them everyday it does help..

It sucks I know I don't get the heartburn sensation but maybe 1 or twice a weeks, but I constantly have the stuck food sensation and lump feeling in my throat, as well as a soar throat and headaches all the time. I have found red apples help me a lot and I just heard that danactive may work as well. My advice don't let it beat you I try to keep busy and exercise seems to help a lot.

I feel your pain guys. Although i dont get pain, i certainly get the extreme violent coughing, the sensation of acid in my throat, breathlessness, etc. I take gaviscon like fucking sweets...

so how do you get the LES to relax again and stop the GERD from happening? Its runing my life, i cant sleep i get panic attacks from it, difficulty breathing, its ruining my life and I want it to stop! what can I do? |
