Phenomenal 1966 performance of Like A Rolling Stone in City Hall, Newcastle (props to Country Jim). Dylan is absolutely manic, a must-watch.

Beats "most" bands? Try all. There aren't many bands even out there mainstream today. The ones that are out there aren't even that good and the lyrics can't compete to anyone from the times before them. It's good that they're trying though. Most of today's media is mindless pathetic rap. Singing about "capping the bitch" or "pounding her ass" and crap along that lines. Shame to see a decade go to waste, huh?:/We need a Dylan apprentice or something...

Can anyone here be honest and say they couldn't understand more than 80% of the lyrics? (apart from the chorus of course).

True. Regardless of electric instruments (and I do understand that this is changing the subject), the introduction of recording multiple tracks and being able to loop took a huge hit against true talent. Now anyone, no skill needed, can become a musician like that! It takes a ton of fun and soul out of it.
